Frequently Asked Questions
Is the appraisal accepted by ICBC?
Yes. We provide an official FIN-320 appraisal report that ICBC accepts when calculating the PST owed on your vehicle.
How do I know if an appraisal could save me money?
If your vehicle has higher mileage, rust, mechanical issues or other damage compared to average, its real value is likely lower than the Black Book value ICBC uses — which means an appraisal could lower the tax you owe.
What if the appraisal won’t save me any tax?
You only pay if the appraisal results in savings. If we determine there’s no tax benefit, you won’t be charged anything.
Do I need to bring my vehicle in?
No. Just send us a few photos from your phone and our team will handle the rest — no in-person inspection required.
Besides ICBC tax appraisals, what other appraisals do you provide?
We also provide insurance appraisals, pre-purchase inspections and general market value appraisals for cars, trucks and other vehicles.
